The 1998 Riverat Hard Rats Cafe

Costume and Talent Show

Around the world, the cats at the Hard Rock Cafe are famous for good burgers and great music memorabilia. Likewise, the Riverats at the Hard Rats Cafe are infamous for Roadkill Stew, funny ceremonies, riotous good times and for encouraging others to join in their harmless good time making. So, if you're feeling a little ornery, join us on Saturday afternoon, September 19th, at 3:00 o'clock pm at the American Ratstand just southeast of the Hard Rats Cafe (Riverat camp toward the west end of the Pecan Grove). Bring forth all that is memo'rat'able about rodentia, for at this year's contest you can help us bring back memories. It's been expanded from a mere costume contest to include talents hidden in all of us . . . especially you! Determine which categories best fit you and prepare to win the "Best in Category" or the coveted platinum button for "Best Overall" Costume.

All Categories will be judged by the audience, so bring your buds!

The contests will begin after a brief recognition ceremony and

the naming of the 1999 "Keeper of the Rat"!

PS. If you're really into good times, go with us on our annual romp, in costume, through the fairgrounds immediately following the conclusion of the ceremony and contests.
