Annual Costume Contest

On Saturday afternoon, September 18th, at 3:00 pm. Bring forth all that is creative. Determine which categories best fit you and prepare to win the "Best of Category" or the coveted holographic button for "Best Overall" Costume.

All Categories will be judged by the audience, so bring your buds!

The Costume categories are:

• Best Alien or Space Creature
• Best Bluegrass Ratstronaut
• Best UFO
• Best Space Goddess
• Best Space Cadet
• Best Favorite Space Character
• Best Star Child
• Best star, planet, moon or other astral body
• Best Other, not previously mentioned
• Best Overall

The Talent Categories are:

• Best Moon Walker
• Best Howl (HAL, Get it?)
• Best Stellar Yeller

The contest will begin after a brief recognition ceremony and the naming of the Year 2000 "Keeper of the Rat"!

PS. If you're into fun adventures, come with us on our annual romp, in costume, through the fairgrounds immediately following the conclusion of the ceremony and contest.
